Terms of Service

These terms govern your use of summerfieldclean.com and any cleaning services booked with Summerfield Cleaning Co. LLC ("we," "us," or "our"). By booking a service or using this site, you agree to these terms.

Booking & Scheduling

Services can be booked online, by phone, or by text. We'll confirm your appointment details, including date, time, and pricing, before your first visit. Pricing is based on your home's size and condition and is confirmed at booking.

Payment

We keep a card on file and charge automatically after each visit. Payment is processed securely through our booking platform (BookingKoala) and their payment partners — we do not store your full card number on our own servers. See our Privacy Policy for details.

Rescheduling

Rescheduling with 48+ hours notice is always free, and we'll move you to the next available slot. Rescheduling within 48 hours is treated the same as a late cancellation.

Cancellations

Cancellations made 48 or more hours before your appointment are free of charge. Cancellations within 48 hours are charged 50% of your booking. Same-day cancellations are charged in full.

Our Guarantee

If you're not completely satisfied within 48 hours of your clean, we'll come back and fix it free, no questions asked. Recurring service has no contracts — you can cancel at any time with no lock-in or termination fees.

Access to Your Home

You're responsible for providing safe, reasonable access to your home for your scheduled appointment (a key, garage code, lockbox, or being present). We are not responsible for delays or missed appointments caused by an inability to access the property.

Excluded & Unsafe Work

Our standard cleaning services do not include biohazard or hazardous material cleanup, mold remediation, pest infestation cleanup, or any work requiring specialized certification or equipment beyond standard residential cleaning.

We reserve the right to decline or stop work if we discover unsafe conditions on-site — including but not limited to structural hazards, exposed wiring, severe pest infestation, hoarding-level conditions not disclosed at booking, or aggressive pets. Any work completed up to that point will still be billed.

If the actual condition of your home differs materially from what was described at booking, we may discuss a revised scope, price, or schedule before continuing.

Events Outside Our Control

We are not liable for delays or an inability to perform service due to severe weather, natural disasters, road closures, utility outages, or other circumstances reasonably outside our control. We'll make reasonable efforts to reschedule as soon as possible, and our standard cancellation fees do not apply when we are the one initiating the reschedule for these reasons.

Liability

We are locally owned, bonded, and insured. If something is damaged during a visit due to our error, let us know within 48 hours so we can make it right. We are not responsible for pre-existing damage, normal wear, or items not disclosed to us as fragile or requiring special care.

Changes to These Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of our services after changes are posted means you accept the updated terms.

Communications

We may contact you by phone, email, or text message regarding your booking, service updates, and account matters. Text messages are optional and are never required to complete a booking or purchase. Governing Law & Disputes

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of North Carolina, without regard to its conflict-of-law principles. Any disputes arising from these terms or our services will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Guilford County, North Carolina. If an issue comes up, please contact us directly first — using the contact information at the end of this page — so we can try to resolve it before anything formal.
